Trish Jones

Trish is a certified birth and postpartum doula. She is a graduate of The University of Memphis where she holds a degree in African & African American Studies with concentrations in Women's Studies, and Humanities. Her passion for birth work began during her undergraduate studies and her subsequent work in the reproductive justice/health sector. She is passionate about childbirth education and committed to providing care without bias while improving birth outcomes in Black and marginalized communities. Trish is the proud mom to a son, EJ.

Dudula Birth Care was born out of a need for informed and impactful service that honors the lived experiences of the birthing. We are passionate about birth education, advocacy, and improving birth outcomes for Black women and communities on the margins. At Dudula, we place our clients at the center of care and adopt reproductive justice as a guiding tenet of our care model. Dudula accepts clients regardless of race, sexuality, gender expression, ability, or socioeconomic status. No matter how you’ve come to birthing, Dudula is here to assist, inform, and empower you throughout your journey.
